Gauge Non-Invariant Higher-Spin Currents in AdS4
Conserved currents of any spin t > 0 built from bosonic symmetric massless gauge fields of arbitrary integer spins s1 + s2 > t in AdS4 are found. Analogous to the case of 4d Minkowski space, currents considered in this paper are not gauge invariant, but generate gauge-invariant conserved charges.
متن کاملTorsion and the Gravity Dual of Parity Breaking in AdS4/CFT3 Holography
We study four dimensional gravity with a negative cosmological constant deformed by the Nieh-Yan torsional topological invariant with a spacetime-dependent coefficient. We find an exact solution of the Euclidean system, which we call the torsion vortex, having two asymptotic AdS4 regimes connected by a wormhole and supported by a pseudoscalar with a kink profile. We propose that the torsion vor...
متن کامل“Massive” Higher Spin Multiplets and Holography
We review the extrapolation of the single-particle string spectrum on AdS5 ×S5 to the Higher Spin enhancement point and the successful comparison of the resulting spectrum with the one of single-trace gaugeinvariant operators in N = 4 supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. We also describe how to decompose the common spectrum in terms of massless and massive representations of the relevant Higher Sp...
متن کاملChiral Topologically Massive Gravity and Extremal B-F Scalars
At a critical “chiral” coupling, topologically massive gravity with a negative cosmological constant exhibits several unusual features, including the emergence of a new logarithmic branch of solutions and a linearization instability for certain boundary conditions. I show that at this coupling, the linearized theory may be parametrized by a free scalar field at the Breitenlohner-Freedman bound,...
